![]() Community Mission Statement
The Dallas Downs Community Association is a common interest group providing mutual benefit for the residents of Dallas Downs. The DDCA will provide a playground, swimming pool, tennis court, pavilion and common grounds, make available opportunities for neighbors to meet and socialize helping to foster a sense of community, set architectural standards and maintenance requirements that help reassure residents that their investment in the community is well protected.
Board of Directors Mission Statement
The DDCA Board of Directors is an elected body charged with the responsibility of managing the affairs of the DDCA.
The officers of the Board of Directors are the President and Vice-President. By resolution of the board, a secretary, and a treasurer shall be appointed. The Board will appoint a Design Committee to approve changes to architecture and landscaping of the member's property as allowed within the Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and By-laws and a Nominating committee, as provided in the By-Laws. In addition, the Board of Directors shall appoint other committees as needed in carrying out its purpose, such as, but not limited to, a Social Committee to facilitate a feeling of neighborliness, a Swimming Pool Supervisor to manage the operation and maintenance of the Pool, a Grounds Supervisor to oversee timely landscape and lawn maintenance, and an enforcement committee to take corrective action and report violations to the board.
